Citrin (NCHS '08)Tops NESCAC Scorers after 4 Weeks

Yes, you read the headline right... Teddy Citrin a sophomore at Wesleyan leads all NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference) players in scoring after the first full four weeks of the season.

Jamie Mauk (NCHS '07) nets 5 points for Colorado College

Sophomore Jamie Mauk (NCHS '07) had three goals and two assists for the Colorado College Tigers in their opener on the road against Division II Notre Dame de Namur University. The game was played out in sunny California so weather was no issue!

Chip Murray (NCHS '08) has big opener for Dickinson

Dickinson College sophomore Chip Murray (NCHS '08) had a big season opening game last week against Susquehanna University. He won an amazing 16 out of 18 faceoffs, had 10 ground balls and even came up wih an assist off of one of his faceoff wins.

1980 NCHS Grad takes over at Lax.com

John Arrix (NCHS '80) recently completed the purchase of Lax.com an internet based lacrosse equipment sales and marketing company. The Arrix name is widely known in the world of New Canaan Lacrosse as John's younger brothers Tom, Kevin and Chris all played for New Canaan throughout the 80's and decorate the pages of our individual honors area with FCIAC, State and All-American awards. (see Arrix Family.)

Local Rivals help UVA improve to 3-0

Freshman Matt White (Ridgefield HS) and Sophomore Ryan Benecasa (Greenwich HS) have made an immediate impact in college playing at the University of Virginia. Along with NY standout Connor English the young UVA team has moved to a quick 3-0 mark by defeating 18th ranked Stony Brook. Read about the game at: "Small town players on the big stage".

Streep (NCHS '07) enters year 2 at Bucknell

Charlie Streep has begun his sophomore year at Bucknell and is looking to build on his incredible Freshman accomplishments. Almost exactly a year after he burst onto the scene with an amazing last second goal against Navy the university reflects on his impact in this great article: "Streep Makes Immediate Impact".
